The beginning….

Detecting lumps in the L breast I shrug it off. Old age, dense tissue. It’s nothing. My husband feels them too and insists I check it out. I ring the Breast Screen clinic-‘You are not due for another mammogram until next March. You will need a doctor’s referral for a diagnostic mammogram.’ Friday 26th August 2011 Dr Holthouse, Childers- suspected tumours in L breast referral for diagnostic mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy.
